It truly is amazing when we are (I am) obedient toGod, as I let him show me where to go and what to do, when to move, or if I should stop… how much smoother and clearer life can be.
How many times in my life have I run ahead of God, (too NUMEROUS to count!!)
Which leads me think of my kids when they were small, and if they ran ahead as we were walking, my heart would sink, because I could “see” an outcome (ie: if an intersection of traffic were in the distance),  and that moment of heart dropping numbness, yelling with firmness to stop w/o freaking the kid out to only run faster and press harder as if it were a game he thought I were playing!); Oh, how many times have I done that to God? Oh my. Forgive.me.Lord.
My feebleness  – sometimes I am seemingly too weak!
Oh, how merciful you are with me Lord! I know that You will work in me and with me, as I learn each day to become more like You.
All week long the verse, Less of me Lord, more of you is what goes through my head. It’s tough sometimes, so many things running in my head, needs, issues, problems, distractions, my head spins and twirls around like a whirlee bird!  But I am learning to stop the madness in my head. God is not one of confusion, but of soundness, direction and whatever He is, lives in me. So I can rest. I know he works all things out for my GOOD. Even if I tend to think my ideas are better. God always wins in my life. And that really is how I want  it to be!  He is good, all the time, and ALL the time, my GOD IS GOOD!!!!
I am learning to be quieter sooner; Stop longer, so He gives me the instruction on what to do, so I don’t have to go around and around endlessly searching for what I am to do.  I know that I can be still and KNOW He IS GOD!  Whom else can I trust with my whole life, my salvation, my family, friends, job, work, family, and everything in between!?!?
I am in the midst of a fairly big crisis, been waiting for direction, answers, any kind of whisper from Him on what to do. Yet I know He is with me. I don’t always feel like it. But his still small voice, the gentle prodding of the Holy Spirit is teaching me. Renewing my mind. Refining my soul. Refreshing my spirit.

In learning, with this study at Proverbs 31, I am learning more still. He has his hand in and on my life, protecting me, and setting me up for great victory, at the right time!

I will be stopping more often – seeking – asking- waiting – and sometimes waiting some more for God to give instructions, in His timing,  as I am learning to say Yes God with a RADICAL obedience! One day at a time sweet Jesus!
Radical: meticulous or extreme, especially as regards change from accepted or traditional forms: a radical change in the policy of   a company.

Lord I will love you with all my heart, soul and strength! You are the breath that I breath and the beat of my heart. It is with you all things are possible!  Help me to live more of you and less of me Lord.                                                                                                             ~  Duet. 6:5

Philippians 4:13

New King James Version (NKJV)
 I can do all things through Christ<span class="footnote" style="font-size: 0.65em; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="[a]”>[a] who strengthens me.

1 Corinthians 14:33

New King James Version (NKJV)
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
Be stilland know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
    1 Chronicles 28:20

David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.
    Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mindThen you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Let’s Pray:    Father thank you for your love and patience for me. Lord as I am studying with the other awesome ladies at Proverbs 31 ministries, so I come to you in prayer and lift up each woman. We need you. We rely on you,  not ourselves. Teach us your ways Lord. Give us wisdom, let us honor you by our obedience to say Yes when you prompt us. Let us not hesitate or doubt. Confusion is from the enemy, and that is defeated by your blood and stripes.

We have sweet and humble confidence in you Lord today and always!
Praising you Jesus for your sweet wonderful salvation!
Trusting you more and more every day!
Amen!

Singing a song:

I’m only human, I’m just a woman.
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.

Chorus:
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.

Do you remember, when you walked among men?
Well Jesus you know if you’re looking below
It’s worse now, than then.
Cheating and stealing, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
